Office Manager | 9am - 3pm | Ongoing

Hours: 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday onsite

Location: Outskirts of Lewes, must be a car driver

Salary: £14 - £15 p/h

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and adaptable Office Manager to support the day-to-day running of our clients growing company. This is a varied and rewarding role that sits at the heart of the business, providing essential support across administration, operations, finance, and business systems.

The successful candidate will be a confident multi-tasker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day administration of the office, ensuring accurate records, documentation, and correspondence are maintained.
Provide operational support to ensure the smooth running of the service, including compliance monitoring and quality assurance activities.
Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
Support HR administration, staff inductions, training records, and employee documentation.
Process invoices, expenses, payroll information, and assist with financial reporting and budget monitoring.
Assist with ensuring records and data are accurate and up to date.
Produce reports, analyse business data, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.
Liaise professionally with staff, service users, suppliers, and external professionals to support business operations.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in an office management, business support, or administrative role.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload.
Experience supporting multiple business functions.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based software systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and use initiative.
